Adult Prom Fundraiser.

In a community of only 10,000, already counted on for other great causes, and annual food cost of $12,000 to $15,000, Just4Me organizers and supporters had to get creative to help ensure we raised the funds needed. We knew we wanted to host one, annual event, that would be put the 'fun' back in fundraising, for us... and for our supporters. In 2017, we hosted our first annual Adult Prom Fundraiser.

A themed event, our inagural prom was themed 'Prom Through the Ages' and welcomed 120 people to a night of fun and fundraising. In our second year, 'A Night of Masquerade' helped us 'unmask hunger' in our community, welcoming 180 supporters and community members. In 2019, we hope to welcome nearly 250 supporters to 'Boots and Pearls', for an evening of 'stomping out hunger'.

But wait, what is Adult Prom... and why in the world would you want to come? First, this isn't your high school prom. Adult Prom is a night of fun with your loved ones and friends, dancing away to all your favorite tunes played by DJ Kirby of 95.7. Though the event is themed, supporters are welcomg to come dressed in theme or simply in what they are comfortable in, as there is no judgement in our prom! Prom King and Queen are decided by auction (with all funds going directly to food purchases of course), and the best part, at our prom, the punch is always spiked - and it's ok to be so!
